We are not affiliated with any of the major karate organisations but we welcome any karateka that is, or has been, associated with one.
Our independence is a deliberate policy that allows us to be flexible in how we set our curriculum and the style of teaching that we undertake. We do however follow the tenets of the founder of Goju Ryu, Chojun Miyagi, and hence our syllabus is very similar to most of the other clubs that teach Goju Ryu.
We also are aligned with the Okinawan Ken Shi Kai organization where Tetsuhiro Hokama is a 10th Dan Gojuryu Karatedo Hanshi.
